United winger aims to excite during run-in
And the 24-year-old believes he is the perfect player to ensure that is the case at Scunthorpe United.
While the majority of their relegation rivals have played twice in the last 12 days, the Iron have enjoyed a rare break from action.
It's a two-week sabbatical that could not have come at a better time either for Woolford, who admits he hasn't been happy with his recent form.
The Yorkshireman has started the last four United matches, but has only completed the full 90 minutes in one of those games.
He has used the break though to work on his wing wizardry and is looking to return to his best for what promises to be a thrilling finale.
"I've been working on things that I feel I need to work on," Woolford told the Telegraph.
"I want to get back to running at players again.
"The break has given me a chance down at Leicester to get out on the pitch in some big open spaces and run with the ball a bit.
"With the weather being how it has been for so long we've had to train inside a lot, so it has been good to be out on some grass and get some running going again."
