Joanne gets the honours at Normanby
She carded 34 points to finish one ahead of Trish Baggaley. Third place went to Jill Ridley with 30.
The winter medal was won by Avril Crowston in the 0 to 20 group with a nett score of 61 with Sue Hilton runner-up on 62.
The 21 to 36 group produced two ladies with nett 62, Marie Drinkall beating Jill Ridley on the back nine.
Another stableford competition attracted 22 entries and was won by Sheila Petchey with 32 points.
Pat Brooks came second with 30 while Avril Crowston and Lynne Winspear both carded 29, Avril taking third on the back nine.
The seniors played the third round of their winter competition for the Trophy World Cup.
James McVeigh had a wonderful score of 43 over a 16-hole course – a full eight shots in front of runner-up Garyth Roberts who pipped club captain Ken Crowston on a card count.
Ashby Decoy ladies played a nine-hole Am-Am, won by Sue Barnes, Lynne Winney and Pauline Trattles with 42 points.
