Taylor-made Hibaldstow rewarded for fair play

THE North Lindsey Cricket League, which no longer stages an annual dinner, instead presented trophies for leading performances during the summer during its annual meeting, held at Appleby-Frodingham's Brumby Hall pavilion.

Awards were presented to teams and individuals by league chairman Dave Willey, of Bottesford.

Pictured, left to right: Jon Taylor, whose Hibaldstow side won the league fair play trophy; Simon Peck, Everton, division three's best bowler; Alex Osmond, Cleethorpes 3rds, division one league and cup winners; Lee Fielden, Brigg Town 3rds, division two cup winners; Mr Willey; Andy Genney, Barton Town 3rds, division two champions; Jon Loates, Wheatley and Leverton, division three's leading batsman and a member of the side which won the divisional championship; Mark Gowshall, Caistor Cougars, who collected division one's leading bowler trophy on behalf of winner Liam Wood.
